Natural Indigo × Persimmon Juice × Pitch Black

Our shawl is an original work of art.
When natural indigo and persimmon juice meet the traditional kimono- making technique “itajime”, they create deep distinctive greenish blue hue. (We call it Iron-ish color.)

Sleek, Geometric, and like Calligraphy Painting...

Cloth is folded up neatly, putting it into a stack of 50 to 70 wooden boards with delicately carved straight lines.
Over 90 degrees dye flows into gaps of each board, and they bring out the best in each color. After being soaked in the dye a few times, our unique hues and elaborately unique designs are born.
